State of Play March 2026: Ghost of Tsushima 2, Bloodborne Remastered, and Every Announcement

The March 25, 2026 State of Play will go down in history. In 52 minutes, Sony dropped five major announcements that paint a very exciting picture for the PS5's future.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 — official

Sucker Punch is back. The protagonist is new — a female samurai named Hana Mori, connected to Jin Sakai by blood. Medieval Korea replaces Japan, and early footage shows a world twice the size of Tsushima. Release: spring 2027.

Bloodborne Remastered — the surprise

The moment that broke the internet. Bloodborne Remastered by FromSoftware and Japan Studio, native 60fps on PS5, out this summer. The PC version is "in active development" according to the press release — which means: probably two years from now.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered 2

Guerrilla Games isn't slowing down. A third Horizon is announced, featuring an older Aloy and a post-Calamity world in the midst of rebuilding. Breathtaking footage of regenerated forests.

The other announcements

Until Dawn 2 by Ballistic Moon, a Stellar Blade DLC, and confirmation that the FromSoftware timed exclusive will indeed be a new Shadows Die Twice.
