Nex Playground Lands in Europe: Kinect Gets a Second Life for Families
Launched in the US in early 2026, the Nex Playground — a motion-detection console that's clearly descended from Kinect — is now expanding across much of Europe, with Germany leading the way. The business model relies on a few bundled titles and a $89 annual subscription for the rest of the catalog. The question isn't whether the concept works technically, but whether European families are willing to pay to revisit what Microsoft abandoned in 2017.
